On March 15th, the line launched two capsule collections, Love and Pink Label, via one of the most popular crowdfunding platforms in the world. The line will focus on fun fashion, bright colors, a unique approach and different ornamentation. Love Couture LA is inspired by and geared towards the everyday girl, and her budget. The Love collection, for example, is moderately priced below $125. “It’s important we stay fashionable, relate-able and relevant without sacrificing both quality and an incomparable overall brand experience. There are a lot of great brands out there, but most of them I can’t relate to or can’t justify splurging $295 on a top for. They’re not a reflection of my lifestyle or story. I know there are a lot of girls in the same boat and that’s our driving purpose behind creating something that every girl can be a part of,” proclaims the young entreprenuer.
The LA brand is also taking an unconventional approach by creating capsule collections rather than the traditional season collections. “I want to throw some of the fashion rules out of the window to make it more fun and simple. I don’t want to be limited to certain colors, fabrics or seasonal trends. I think a girls’ wardrobe is ever-changing and we want to keep up with that. So we’ll create a new themed capsule collection every 3 months ranging from 10-20 designs,” Alesia enthusiastically states. The excitement is well deserved; after 6 years in the making, Love Couture LA is proving to be what they stand for: for the love of fashion, for the everyday girl. The admirable fashion brand will gradually expand to all categories which include shoes, jeans, handbags and accessories, as it continues to grow.
